Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment designed to release tension in the body and support the health of the central nervous system. Using light touch, this therapy helps improve the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and restore the body’s natural balance. It is often sought for relief from chronic pain, headaches, migraines, TMJ (jaw) pain, tinnitus, stress, anxiety, depression, and fibromyalgia.
This deeply relaxing and restorative therapy can also support those with postural imbalances, scoliosis, digestive issues, and nervous system dysregulation. Craniosacral Therapy promotes overall wellness, helping clients feel calmer, more balanced, and more in tune with their bodies.
Ideal for anyone looking for a holistic, non-invasive approach to pain relief, stress reduction, and emotional well-being.
TMJ Specialty Massage
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ), commonly known as the jaw, can often experience stiffness, pain, or clicking and popping sensations. At Align Bodywork, our TMJ Massage treatments are designed to relieve tension and discomfort associated with jaw dysfunction using a combination of extra-oral (outside the mouth) and intra-oral (inside the mouth) massage techniques.
This focused approach not only addresses the jaw itself but also treats the surrounding head, neck, and shoulder structures that contribute to tension and imbalance.
Please note:
- Intra-oral work is entirely optional and will only be performed with your consent and comfort.
- If your jaw pain is new or has developed suddenly, we recommend consulting with your dentist before booking to rule out any underlying dental or structural issues that may require medical attention.
Experience a gentle yet effective treatment aimed at restoring balance, improving mobility, and relieving jaw tension.
